Summary
The Bianchi Infinito is celebrated for its exceptional comfort and vibration-damping capabilities, making it a standout in the endurance category. It offers a responsive and stable ride, with handling that balances quickness and stability, though some reviews note its weight and price as drawbacks. The bike's Countervail technology is frequently praised for reducing fatigue on long rides, while its performance on descents and in corners is highlighted as a key strength.
Exceptional comfort and vibration-damping
Responsive and stable handling
Effective power transfer and acceleration
High-quality frameset with Countervail technology
Versatile for both long-distance rides and racing
A little on the heavy side
Price tag carries the Bianchi premium
Underwhelming spec for the money in some builds
the frame brushed over imperfections even on the aptly named ‘sandpaper section’ of my favourite test route.
The way this machine responds to pedalling input in the big ring almost puts it on a par with some of the best race bikes we’ve tested.
On the road the Infinito CV performs superbly, with Countervail proving itself as far more than a high-tech gimmick or marketing buzzword
The Bianchi is a great handling bike in the way that everything is very balanced.

A well-equipped all-rounder that's fast, comfortable but above all else great fun to ride

Stunning ride quality and handling, but dulled by underwhelming spec. Buy if you want a chassis that’s the pinnacle of smooth, and don’t mind having to upgrade to get the best from it
Absolutely wonderful ride and handling
Middling wheels and underwhelming spec for the money

Same smooth ride quality and racey performance with the benefits of disc brakes, but it's not exactly cheap and the fork isn't stiff enough
