Summary
The Bianchi Infinito is celebrated for its exceptional ride quality, combining comfort with performance, thanks to its Countervail vibration-damping technology. It excels in handling and stability, making it a favorite for both long-distance rides and spirited descents. However, some reviews note that the spec and wheelset may not fully match the bike's premium price point.
Advanced vibration cancellation technology (Countervail) reduces rider fatigue
Comfortable over long distances
Responsive and efficient power transfer
Excellent handling and stability
High-quality frameset with CounterVail technology
Wheelset limits performance potential
Underwhelming spec for the money
Price increase for 2017 makes it less appealing
The way this machine responds to pedalling input in the big ring almost puts it on a par with some of the best race bikes we’ve tested.
On the road the Infinito CV performs superbly, with Countervail proving itself as far more than a high-tech gimmick or marketing buzzword.
The Bianchi is a great handling bike in the way that everything is very balanced.

An exceptional bike if you want to go fast in plenty of comfort, but you have to pay for it

Stunning ride quality and handling, but dulled by underwhelming spec. Buy if you want a chassis that’s the pinnacle of smooth, and don’t mind having to upgrade to get the best from it
Absolutely wonderful ride and handling
Middling wheels and underwhelming spec for the money
