Summary
The Argon 18 Gallium is celebrated as a high-performance race bike, offering a blend of speed, light weight, and responsive handling. Its design incorporates innovative features like increased tyre clearance and a 3D System for adjustable riding positions, though some reviews note a trade-off in comfort on longer rides. The bike's understated design and pro-level performance make it a standout, albeit with some critiques on component choices and value.
Light weight with excellent ride quality
Responsive and precise handling
Innovative design features like the 3D System
Pro-level performance
Understated and sleek design
Comfort could be improved for long rides
Component choices may not meet all expectations at the price point
Vibration damping is mid-range, transmitting smaller bumps
'True innovation begins where others settle for status quo. Argon 18 keeps pushing forward. Always. Cycling is our passion, and Argon 18 makes bikes for people who share our love of riding,' said Gervais Rioux, Argon 18 CEO and Founder.
The Gallium Pro’s wonderful ride is balanced by such a clean and understated piece of design it runs the risk of being overlooked in favour of more flamboyant bikes, which would be a huge shame.
The Argon 18 Gallium Pro Disc 15th Anniversary Edition can take you all the way to the podium, with 15 years of heritage behind it.

Classic diamond frame
Individual configurations available
Climbing and descending capabilities
Optimal balance between stability and agility
Lacking vibration damping
140 mm front rotor is too small for heavier or inexperienced riders

Understated design in a brilliant race machine, just a bit pricey for the equipment level. Buy if you want a bike that’s full of clever tech, rides brilliantly and doesn’t need to shout about it
Handling chops to die for, subtle and smooth ride
Ultegra Di2 is great but at this price I’d expect Dura-Ace
