For consistent stopping power on the way back down, steel V-brakes provide controlled braking even on steep and slippery descents. You’ll also get plenty of grip on uneven surfaces with the 27.5 x 2.10" MTB tyres, which sit on durable aluminium wheels.
Staying comfortable on bumpy surfaces is important, especially on longer rides, so the Apollo Phaze features a Suntour XCE28 front suspension fork to help take some of the energy out of collisions, landings or hard turns. With 100mm of travel, the suspension system will help to take the pressure off your hands and arms even on the toughest trails.
