Summary
The 3T Strada is a high-performance aero road bike that excels in speed and aerodynamics, offering a plush ride quality and versatile performance across mixed surfaces. While it's praised for its balanced handling, comfort, and innovative features like wide tire clearance, it faces criticism for its high price and weight compared to some rivals.
Streamlined aerodynamic benefits
Plush and responsive ride feel
Versatile for mixed surfaces
Wide 35mm tire clearance
Exemplary handling qualities
High price point
Heavier than some rivals
Sluggish uphill
No provision for mudguards
Limited compatibility with SRAM's Transmission
3T has put together another killer single-ring road racer
It’s a very fast bike on the flats and very reliable in its handling, especially when the roads are imperfect but still stiff enough to behave as a good all-rounder.
The 3T Strada Italia is fast and forgiving.
A comfortable aero bike may sound like a contradictory statement but the refined aerodynamic tube shapes and ability to run wider tyres and lower pressures have resulted in time-trial-bike-like speed on most road surfaces and conditions.
