The 99 Spokes dataset is accessible through various means – JSON API, OData API, refreshable Excel sheets, and more. However, not everyone has a dedicated data team, and sometimes you just need quick and easy access to investigate the data. That's why we created our most accessible option yet — the 99 Spokes Cloud Dashboard. Think of us as your personal data team!
The cloud dashboard is always up to date and all you need is a web browser for access. After you sign in, open the Dashboard workbook and you’ll see a list of tabs, each representing a distinct view described below.

Select a currency and the brands you’d like to monitor and get a quick overview of what’s going on in the last 12 months with respect to pricing. Each heatmap highlights monthly changes in retail and discount pricing.
Select a list of brands to view discounting trends like percentage of models discounted, average discount amount. Apply additional filter options including category, subcategory, e-bike, and currency. Select a day on the time series to view a breakdown of the discounted bikes.
If you see something interesting in the Price Changes Overview heatmap described above, use these table views to drill down to the model level and see which specific model prices are changing.
99 Spokes analyzes the build material and quality level of the frame, fork, wheelset, groupset, suspension system, and more to estimate the overall spec level of each bike. The Spec Level Explorer gives you a filterable view of the scatter plot feature shown on the site today. This makes it easy for you to visualize how your lineup compares to a filtered set of competitors.
Select your model family and discover competitors, based on either Spec Level, retail price, or discount price.
This one is for the Excel junkies out there. Use the filters to select the bikes you’re interested in and Download as Crosstab (Tableau-speak for Excel) to do some ad-hoc analysis in Excel. The exported data includes all the columns that you would find in our refreshable Excel sheet option.
PRO Tip: As you interact with each view and adjust filters, use the Tableau menu bar to save your custom view configuration for easy access later.
