Specialized S-Works Stumpjumper 15 EVO Di2 first look

ago 2025

Specialized EVO'd the Stumpy 15, making it a lot more interesting as a Shore-worthy trail bike.

Pro
  • Stunning paint job (dark cherry to black fade)

  • Genie shock offers tunable platform and improved traction

  • Fox Transfer NEO dropper post is flawless

  • S-Works Power Pro with Mirror saddle is very comfortable

  • Roval Traverse SL II rims look unique

  • Shimano XTR Di2 drivetrain and brakes perform well

  • Comes with ride wrap and tool kit

Contro
  • Very expensive (14,499 CAD / 11,299 USD)

  • No internal shift cable routing on carbon frame

  • 800mm bars on all sizes (not size-appropriate)

  • Grid Trail rear casing feels thin, T7 compound may lack grip in wet

  • Fox 36 fork flexes under heavier rider (195 lbs)

  • Industry 9 Hydra 2 hubs may not hold up in wet climate

  • XTR brakes not as powerful as SRAM Maven

  • Initial setup needed: too much air in shock, headset angle adjustment
