Ok bike for price. It needs a low granny gear.
good brakes, easy shifting, comfortable seat, reasonable price.
The lowest gear on my new Escape 2 is not as low as on my prior Trek that had 3 front gears and 8 back gears. I probably would not have bought it if I knew this. I live on top of a steep hill
