Riassunto
The Giant Reign is a highly capable enduro bike, praised for its confidence-inspiring descent performance and efficient climbing, thanks to the Maestro suspension system. It's noted for its stability and agility on challenging terrain, making it a favorite for riders who tackle steep and technical trails. While it excels in downhill performance, some reviews mention it's less efficient on climbs compared to its peers.
Confidence-inspiring on steep descents
Efficient pedaling with Maestro suspension
Stable and agile on challenging terrain
Good value for the price
Versatile for various terrains including bike parks
Less efficient on climbs compared to peers
Frequent pedal strikes due to low bottom bracket
Understeers in tight switchbacks
Rear suspension can feel harsh on midsize bumps
The Reign Advanced 1 is perhaps the closest I’ve found to a genuine quiver killer.
It’s so low, long, and slack, it’s freakishly composed when other bikes are pinballing their puckered riders all over the trail.Bicycling
The Reign rewards riding with the brakes OFF!

Yes, there’s a bit of annoying cable clatter, which needs some attention to quieten it down, and the custom fork offset does take a little getting used to at slower speeds, but with a spec that’s hard to fault and arguably improving with the addition of the Lyrik next year, Giant’s Reign 1 is a seriously capable beast in the right hands.. .

The Giant Reign Advanced 1 is among the most popular bikes for privateer enduro racers. But how does it hold up against the best of its breed?

The Giant Reign 27.5 1 is something of an enigma in that it’s an eye-wateringly quick race bike, but still a barrel of laughs on a social ride
Fast and fun in equal measure
It’s a little overpriced

Go ahead, grab those KOMs with this aggressive enduro bike

When Giant launched the Reign for the 2005 model year, it was billed as a long-travel cross country bike with 5.8" of rear travel and a 70-degree head angle. It also featured Giant’s all-new Maestro suspension platform.

Giant Reign 2016 – The Review a mountainbiking video by jonesdirt The new Giant Reign 2016, a top bike on so many levels still sends out a few mixed messages as to its true character. There’s absolutely no doubt that the new Giant Reign has some hefty ambitions. With its wide bar, big discs, fat […]
