A bike with lower gearing will be easier to ride up steep hills, while a higher top end means it will pedal faster down hills.

Specialized Riprock 20 and 24 Review

nov. 2023 · Natalie Martins

More trail worthy than previous models, the 2022 Specialized Riprock 20 and 24 sport some great improvements, but stop short of perfection.

Points forts
  • Redesigned with slacker, modern geometry

  • Hydraulic disc brakes

  • Internally routed for dropper post

  • Lighter than predecessor

  • 9-speed drivetrain with trigger shifters

  • Affordable price point

Points faibles
  • Seat post cannot be slammed fully, limiting minimum seat height

  • Low stack height may not suit taller riders within recommended range

  • Handlebar width too wide for some smaller riders

  • Base model has rigid fork (considered a pro by reviewer but could be con for some)

Riprock 24 rider review

juil. 2023 · Bryan

Great kids bike! I really like the lightweight rigid fork at this age, as my kid is not heavy enough to compress most of the suspension forks on bikes

Points forts
  • Rigid fork

  • hydraulic brakes

  • clean design with internal cable routing

Points faibles
  • No quick release clamp for easy height adjustment
