Resumen
The Giant Revolt is a versatile gravel bike praised for its smooth ride quality, efficient power transfer, and excellent comfort on rough terrain. It features a lightweight carbon frame, ample mounting points for accessories, and capable handling that suits both road and off-road riding. However, some models have noted issues with stock tires and components that may limit performance in certain conditions.
Smooth and comfortable ride quality
Lightweight and efficient carbon frame
Versatile with ample mounting points for accessories
Capable handling for mixed-surface riding
Good value for money in many builds
Stock tires can lack traction in loose or wet conditions
Some components, like dropper posts, may have ergonomic or performance issues
Aggressive geometry may not suit all riders, especially on descents
The Revolt is undeniably, if understatedly rapid.
It’s easily one of the most comfortable gravel bikes I’ve ridden in recent memory.
I love how much the Revolt manages to feel like a road bike, plus a bit more.
The GIANT Revolt X is an excellent all-rounder, suitable for off-road adventures, relaxed post-work rides, and multi-day epics.
The build is functional and will serve riders just getting into gravel grinding with a versatile and comfortable ride.

Heaps of capability
Heaps of versatility
Mostly excellent components.
Can’t hide the weight or rolling resistance
Unrefined dropper seatpost

Handling could be more daring.

Giant’s much loved soft-road gravel bike gets bigger tires, a smoother ride and more versatility, while losing weight
Super-smooth frame, post and bars
Light and quietly super-quick frame and wheels
Loads of bottle, rack, fender and bag mounts
53mm tire clearance
Close spaced gears and powerful brakes
Receptor tires are terrifying without adding speed
Stock steering is borderline sketchy off-road
No single ring options on any Revolt
