More trail worthy than previous models, the 2022 Specialized Riprock 20 and 24 sport some great improvements, but stop short of perfection.
Hydraulic disc brakes with adjustable reach levers
Microshift Advent 9-speed trigger shifters with clutch derailleur
Lightweight rigid fork (base model)
Slacker, more modern geometry with 68° head tube angle
Dropper post compatible (even 20")
Ground Control 2.35" tires with good traction

Low stack height makes it too aggressive for timid riders
Seat post cannot be slammed fully; minimum seat height higher than recommended by Specialized

Specialized introduces an updated Riprock for young rippers with all the bells and whistles of its classic adult bikes. It has modern geometery and some cool new parts to go with the redesigned frame.
