Looking for something different in a gravel or adventure bike? We put the Nukeproof Digger to the test. See if it's the bike for you.
Includes a dropper post and Shimano GRX 810-LA left lever for easy dropper actuation
Boosted confidence on steep descents due to slack head angle (69°) and long front center
Plant and stable ride over changing surfaces and chunky gravel
Good tire clearance (45mm 700C, 47mm 650B)
BSA threaded bottom bracket and ample mounting points (4 bottle cages, triple fork mounts, fender/rack mounts)
Stout build and geometry provide confidence on technical terrain
Excellent braking from Shimano GRX with 160mm rotors
Easy tubeless setup with included wheels/tires
Reliable Shimano GRX mechanical shifting (though with chain line caveat)
Low stack (561.6mm) results in a road-racing position, too low for an adventure bike
Sluggish in sprint and not snappy on climbs; feels weighty over 20 lbs
142mm rear axle spacing may limit wheel options
Chain line offset causes noisy/less efficient shifting in low gears
Wheels are heavy (over 1900g), a performance demerit
Front-end wanders or flops on steep uphills
Limited steerer length (65mm) restricts bar height adjustment
GRX 1x drivetrain may not have low enough gears for loaded bikepacking in hilly terrain
