Zusammenfassung
The Polygon Collosus is praised for its modern enduro geometry, offering a planted and predictable ride that excels in high-speed descents and corners. It provides impressive value for money with solid build kits and efficient suspension performance, though its heavy weight can hinder playfulness and climbing agility. While the bike requires careful setup to optimize handling, it delivers a capable and comfortable experience for aggressive riding.
Modern enduro geometry
Good value for money
Efficient suspension performance
Planted and predictable handling
Solid build kit
Heavy weight
Requires careful setup
Limited playfulness
Draggy tires
High maintenance due to multiple pivots
It dived in and out of a snaking section of steep, supported corners in a solid, predictable manner and the dimensions felt good.
Indeed it’s a bloody good enduro bike for the money, and one that is perfectly at home riding the roughest and rowdiest gravity-fuelled descents.
Polygon once again delivered an impressive bike for the money.

The Polygon Collosus N7 is the cheapest way to purchase in new enduro mountain bike in 2023. But does that mean it's worth buying? Spoiler Alert: It's for the park rats 🐀
Extremely affordable
Relatively solid spec given the price
Great performing suspension (one you set it up correctly)
Well rounded geometry
Weight (41 lbs / 18.6 kg tested)
Weak brakes
Minimal dropper post insertion

Polygon's premier trail rig has great handling and comes in at $3k+ cheaper than rival offerings.
Impressively dressed with full Shimano XTR Di2 drivetrain and RockShox dampers
Competitive pricing: 7700 CAD / 6000 USD
Adjustable geometry with flip chips for wheel size and head angle
Lightweight (estimated ~31 lb)
Lively climbing with high traction
Suspension feels active and plush
Smooth and quick XTR Di2 shifting
Great brake feel with predictable power
Long-travel fork (160mm) encourages descending
Frame details like rubber protection, tube-in-tube routing, PolyPocket storage
Double Dissector tire combo lacks cornering grip and front tire bite
180mm front rotor may be undersized
170mm dropper post not long enough for steep terrain
Dropper cable routing could be cleaner
Tire casing (Exo+) may be prone to flats
Climb switch on shock feels awkward and reduces traction
Overall build leans heavy toward descending but tires and brakes may not match
