Semi Internal Cable Routing, Cables for your gears and brakes are essential, but you don't necessarily want to see them all the time. Our semi internal cable routing takes gear and brake cables through the down tube for a cleaner appearance, smoother shifts and reduced maintenance. So your CUBE bike looks good and continues to function as it should, and you just concentrate on enjoying the ride. Aluminium Superlite, CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.
