More trail worthy than previous models, the 2022 Specialized Riprock 20 and 24 sport some great improvements, but stop short of perfection.

Lightweight compared to predecessor
Dropper post compatible (even 20")
Wide handlebars for stability
Plenty of traction from Ground Control tires
Reasonable price point
Seat post cannot be slammed low enough for shorter kids (20")

Specialized introduces an updated Riprock for young rippers with all the bells and whistles of its classic adult bikes. It has modern geometery and some cool new parts to go with the redesigned frame.
