Check out our Borealis Keystone review and see how it breaks the stereotypes with fun handling, great components, and fat bike capability!
That Shimano EP8 motor paired with massive 5-inch tires creates a combo that'll crush any terrain you throw at it. I was able to cover 38 miles on MAX assistance, which means you can plan epic adventures without stressing about range.
Running those fat tires at just 10 PSI delivers a ride quality that rivals full-suspension rigs, even on this hardtail frame. The Manitou Mastodon fork with 120-140mm adjustable travel is almost overkill with how plush these tires ride.
The SRAM GX Eagle AXS wireless shifting and 10-52t cassette range means you're never hunting for gears, even on technical climbs. That 69° head tube angle might sound steep on paper, but it gives this fatty some surprisingly playful trail manners.
At 56 pounds, this isn't winning any lightweight contests, but it's impressively nimble for a bike in this category. Three mounting points for racks and gear mean you can load your gear up while maintaining that planted feel from the 1223mm (48 inch) wheelbase. See Latest Price

A Unique, Premium Ride That Is Rugged and Capable for XC & Trail Riding in Any Weather For some, trail or XC mountain biking is a fair-weather-only activity. Fighting the muck after some rain might not sound like a joyride. For others, local trails may not be the most conducive to riding if you live
You can ride in all sorts of weather/conditions. A true fat tire eMTB is a unique e-bike to find.
The Shimano motor feels like the EXACT right pairing for this bike. Powerful, but not overpowering, motor assistance that’s intuitively accessed when pedaling.
Terrific handling. The bike feels lighter than expected. It maneuvers better going up and over stuff.
There are a ton of desirable performance features you don’t often see stock on fat bikes, like electronic shifting, a carbon handlebar, or the Mastodon fork.
Available in four frame sizes – it’ll be easier to find the right fit.
It’s really nice to pick the tire and rim size that’ll match your needs.
It has a high overlanding/camping/adventuring potential, but those types of accessories are limited through Borealis’s website.
The tires and fork might make the ride feel bouncy for newer riders on technical sections.

A great core package but the extreme tire choice limits its broad appeal
