A super-fast, light and ultra-responsive all-mountain ebike, the Mako Hybrid GT is suitable for both trail and enduro use. Its customizable geometry, range and kinematics gives riders total freedom to ride further, harder and faster on any terrain.
The bike represents an evolution of its popular predecessor, the Mako hybrid HP. All the learnings from the development of that bike, and the feedback received from riders who rode it, have been applied to this latest incarnation, and the results put the Mako Hybrid GT in a class of its own.
This next-generation model is also the most versatile yet, with its five modes of assistance enabling riders to enjoy both epic adventures on the trails and the ability to send it downhill when the going gets tough.
The Mako Hybrid GT is a bike able to meet the needs of even the most demanding and experienced of riders. It is available in four different versions, with the same frame, motor and battery being paired with varying high-end specifications of drivetrain, fork and wheels at each pricepoint.
As with all Berria bikes, each model can be configured using the company’s custom BerriaDesign program. Riders are able to customize the bike in their own unique style, ensuring every Mako Hybrid GT offers a totally bespoke ride.
The Mako Hybrid GT’s frame weighs just 2,600g and is constructed from Berria’s own HM2X carbon. This state-of-the-art composite incorporates a reinforced Mach R resin, allowing it to stand up to the hardest terrain whilst also delivering highly efficient power transfer between rider and bike.
Its motor is Polini’s flagship E-P3+ MX model, weighing in at just 2,950g but capable of producing 250W (600W peak) and 90Nm of torque. This market-leading power unit offers five different ride modes, accelerations of 4.5m/s² and up to 25km/h of assistance, all managed by the rider using an integrated TFT display embedded in the toptube.
