The Yeti SB140 is light and poppy, but still super stable at speed. It's most in its element on trails with wide-open sight lines where you can let the brakes off and get playful on well-sculpted berms and jumps.

While 29ers may be faster going from Point A to B, the smaller-wheeled (and shorter rear-ended) 27.5ers are arguably more playful and poppy. - Mtbr.com

At 190cm tall, I like a high front-end, and a longer reach requires a higher bar height to feel comfortable on the bike.
Steep seat angle, efficient suspension and fast rolling tyres make climbing both comfortable and fast
Burly fork and roomy geometry make it potentially super-capable coming back down too
Rear tyre and 180mm rotors aren't ideal for really steep descents
Maximum bar height too low for some tall riders

Dopo la SB165, è giunta l’ora di mostrarvi la nuova SB140, una bici con ruote da 27.5″ e 140mm di escursione posteriore, abbbinati ad una forcella da 160mm. Anche questa fa parte del concetto “rip bikes”, con cui Yeti definisce un tipologia di mezzi pensati per divertirsi prima di tutto, sfruttando la giocosità delle ruote più piccole rispetto alle 29 presentate la scorsa stagione.
