Riassunto
The Trek Emonda is celebrated for its lightweight design and all-purpose road racing capabilities, drawing praise for its Madone-influenced frame that enhances steering stiffness. It offers a mix of performance and comfort, making it suitable for long rides, though some riders may find its ride quality too firm. The bike's direct-mount brakes and integrated features like the Duotrap sensor are frequently highlighted, despite some critiques of brake feel and comfort.

When Trek first introduced the Émonda back in 2014, it was sort of a surprising addition.

My test bike, the Trek Émonda SLR 8, shares the same frame and fork (690 g and 280 g in Size 56, respectively) as the SLR 10, but has a less-rarified spec.
