1 uses Trek’s top-grade Alpha 200-series aluminium, which thanks to hydroforming techniques has allowed for the flattened top tube and KVF down tube shapes, the latter of which being essentially an aerofoil shape that’s had the back cut off, increasing stiffness and decreasing weight while aiding aerodynamics.. .

Durante il mese di Settembre abbiamo avuto l’opportunità di testare più a lungo la nuova Trek Madone 6 series, con freni integrati. [img]http://foto.bdc-forum.it/image.php?id=431&s=576&uid=1850[/img] La versione che ci è stata fornita differiva un po’ da quella “standard” disponibile sul mercato, che è montata con Ultegra DI2 compact e ruote Bontrager Race X Lite. Quella fornita era montata invece con Dura-Ace meccanico 10V (53/39) e ruote Bontrager Aeolus 3 D3 copertoncino. Altro particolare differente la sella che nella versione in commercio è la Bontrager Affinity RL, mentre a noi è arrivata la Affinity RXL Carbon.
