Autore: Francesco Mazza Lo scorso Luglio Specialized ha presentato la sua gamma 2017 con alcune novità e un significativo ribasso generale dei prezzi di listino. Tra queste novità, la più importante è stata sicuramente la nuova Epic HT, la hardtail da XC race che sostituisce la Stumpjumper HT grazie a un telaio interamente riprogettato da zero, con quote record in termini di rigidezza e peso e geometrie interamente rinnovate in funzione dell’evoluzione stessa della disciplina XC, sempre più tecnica e aggressiva. As if the standard Specialized Epic Expert Carbon wasn’t already sufficiently purpose built for cross-country riding and racing, there’s the even edgier World Cup version that features slightly reduced and more firmly tuned suspension travel, quicker handling, and beefed-up carbon chain stays that will only work with 1x drivetrains.
