The Tempest is one of our best-selling bikes, and for good reason. Gravel specific geometry gives it feel sharp yet predictable ride while tyre clearances of up to 48mm will give you the grip that you need on rougher terrain. Double water bottle mounts and pannier mounts enable you to load it up with baggage for your next multi-day adventure.
SRAMs Force 1 groupset provides great value at a low weight utilising carbon crank arms and brake levers, while a wide range 11-42 cassette means you wont be missing that front derailleur when the gradients increase. The clutch rear mech and narrow wide chainrings keep your chain noise to a minimum, while powerful hydraulic disc brakes supply a controllable bite and stopping power in all conditions.
Fulcrum Racing 900 wheels offer low weight with plenty of compliance when riding on rougher surfaces. Selcof finishing kit is used at the cockpit, with comfy soft touch bar tape and a gravel handlebar give a wider position in the drops providing more comfort and stability offroad.

Pedals not included? Why not?
Pedal choice is a personal thing. Most higher end bikes are expected to be ridden with clipless pedals. These are matched to cleats on the underside of your cycling shoes. There are a few standards of these, and most cyclists tend to stick with one standard across all their bikes. So, you don't need to buy multiple pairs of shoes! Thats why Planet X dont sell bikes with pedals included. If you wish to add pedals to your order, simply select an option from the drop-down menu.
