Riassunto
The Kona Process 134 is a trail bike that excels in descents with its bottomless rear suspension and snappy handling, making it a favorite for enduro riding. While it impresses with its uphill traction and nimble handling, some riders may find it heavy and sluggish on climbs. The bike's geometry and suspension performance are highlights, though its high-speed stability and climbing efficiency have been noted as areas for improvement.

If ever I have ridden a bike that felt like an extension of myself, this is the one.
“A mini downhill bike,” one tester said.
If uphill Strava KOMs are your thing, leave this one at home. But if the downhills are your playground, hop on it.

The day after getting a chance to check out Kona’s new Hei Hei Trail DL, we had time for one more ride. This year was the first that Kona held their dealer event in Squamish, BC, which meant prime access to some of the best local trails right out the front door. For obvious reasons, this …

“A mini downhill bike,” one tester said. “Just wants to rip,” said another. The Process is clearly built by and for riders who want to hit descents hard

"The Kona Process 134 Supreme is a smile-inducing ride in the vast majority of situations and the frame is the heart of that experience..."

The Kona Process 134 was well received as a 26in bike in 2013, but Kona has ripped up the rulebook and designed a brand new range
Smashing the Cresta Run trail on holiday in Bubión, Spain. Never been so thrilled and relieved to get to the bottom of a trail.
The Shimano Deore brakes. Not the strongest outright stoppers, but you can’t put a price on the reliability.
The riding performance of the bomber-solid frame and rear suspension.
The underwhelming RockShox Sektor fork was a constant source of irritation. Heavy steel stanchions?!
A bit like the rider, there’s no denying the Process is on the portly side.
The stingy overall spec for the money.
