Riassunto
The GT Grade gravel bike family is celebrated for its superb ride quality, combining comfort and efficiency across varied terrains. Its innovative design, including a flexible seat tube and floating seatstays, offers a cushy yet controlled ride, making it versatile for both road and off-road adventures. While it boasts competitive tire clearance and a lightweight frame, some reviews note potential inefficiencies and minor build quirks.
Superb ride quality
Innovative design for increased compliance
Versatile for both road and off-road
Competitive tire clearance
Lightweight frame
Potential inefficiencies in power transfer
Minor build quirks like externally routed brake lines
Puncture-prone tires without tubeless setup
The vastly more flexible seat tube does a superb job of tempering the jolts of imperfect road surfaces, washboarded dirt, and unforeseen potholes, and it’s an effect you can both feel and see.
GT was first to the party, and the new Grade shows that it is not about to leave the dancefloor any time soon.
It’s a bike that takes you back to childhood, blasting around the woods.

Plush yet stiff feel and assured handling and does a decent turn on the road, but a wide-ranging 1x setup would be preferable

The original GT Grade was an ambitiously forward-looking machine that was quick to jump on the all-road and gravel bandwagons that were then just starting to gain traction in the mainstream. This revamped version might not be considered as innovative as the original, but it’s a far better example of the genre, now offering competitive […]
Superb ride quality, confidence-inspiring stability, lots of accessory mounts, elegant graphics
PF30 bottom bracket, not the most efficient-feeling

Highly capable, with a performance that shines on any surface as it smooths out bumps with the skinniest of skinny rear stays – and a very competitive price – the new GT Grade Carbon Expert is a top choice in an increasingly crowded gravel bike market. The Grade is a quick, road-orientated bike that still likes to get its feet dirty. Buy if you want a light bike with proper road speed and decent gravel potential
Carbon frameset, Stan’s wheelset, very good value
Narrow high-pressure tyres aren’t ideal off road
