[ad3] Alcuni anni fa, quando correvano per GT, gli Atherton hanno collaborato a disegnare una nuova bici da Downhill partendo da zero, in modo che fosse perfettamente adatta alle loro esigenze. Lunga e stabile, ha sospensioni con una curva di compressione lineare. Grazie al particolare schema di sospensione, in pedalata è neutra ed efficiente: una qualità fondamentale quando si corre contro il cronometro. È in alluminio, ma in compenso ha un prezzo interessante di 2170$ per il solo telaio: montarsi una Fury è un lavoro veloce e tutto sommato non troppo costoso per il rider non professionista. While we'd usually leave the limericks and whatnot for the Irishmen, we couldn't hold back on our praise of the GT Fury Team's straight-ahead steamroller sensibilities.
