Riassunto
The Giant TCR is celebrated for its well-rounded performance, combining lightweight construction with aerodynamic efficiency and versatile ride quality. It's praised for its competitive pricing, innovative design, and the inclusion of high-quality components like power meters and carbon wheels. While it excels in stiffness and handling, some reviews note minor drawbacks such as compatibility issues with hookless rims and a press-fit bottom bracket.
Lightweight and aerodynamic design
Versatile ride quality suitable for racing and endurance
High-value components including power meters and carbon wheels
Innovative design with competitive pricing
Stiff and responsive handling
Compatibility issues with hookless rims
Press-fit bottom bracket may require maintenance
Some flex in the frame compared to competitors
Limited aftermarket upgrade options due to proprietary components
Giant is clearly flexing its muscles pretty hard with its new TCR.
The ride quality is just superbly nuanced.
It has the weight and handling of a pure climber yet also the aggression of an aero road bike, all while having the tyre clearance to make it an all-day cruiser.
The Giant TCR remains a fantastic all-round race bike, even if it’s no longer a cutting-edge design.
Exceptional all-round performance and well worth the money

Handles with exquisite poise, a bike that's brutally quick to accelerate with a dream-machine specification
Light, stiff, responsive – the new TCR has it all
Some may not like the exposed brake hoses
I’d prefer 28mm tyres

The Giant TCR Advanced SL 0 Disc is an absolute speed machine and offers a thrilling ride but it's less comfortable than its top end competitors
Incredible fast
Fun and agile ride quality that'll have you sprinting everywhere
Great spec
Compact frame design is as superb as ever
Harsher than competitors

The latest race bike from Giant claims to offer class-leading aerodynamics, weight and stiffness. We take a look at how that translates to real-world riding
Weight (sub 7kg, size large)
It holds speed over flat and rolling ground well
Power transfer is similar to a dedicated aero bike
Handling confidence takes time to build
The integrated seatpost makes flying with the TCR difficult, but not impossible
No Shimano builds available at Advanced SL level
