The bike's handling is praised for its balance and stability, making it suitable for both long rides and fast club outings.

Pros
  • Versatile for different types of road riding

  • Comfortable for long rides with engineered comfort features

  • Lively and stiff frame for efficient power transfer

  • Balanced handling for both uphill and downhill

  • Includes innovative features like D-Fuse seatpost and handlebar

Cons
  • Stealth Stem could frustrate do-it-yourself bike fitters

Giant Defy Advanced 1 review

giu 2019 · Warren Rossiter

What’s allowed Giant to spec such a premium drivetrain is the mix ‘n’ match nature of this bike’s braking system, which is made up of Giant’s own Conduct hydraulic disc brakes hooked up to the cable-actuated Ultegra brake levers.. .

Pro
  • Smooth ride, great position and good value with it

Contro
  • The cable-hydraulic brake system lacks feel and adds weight up front
