Take the high-value SRAM X1 & Pike build of the 2017 Anthem Advanced SX, grow the fork and dropper post travel, slack out the head tube angle, and throw on more aggressive rubber and you have Andrew Stone’s min-maxed Giant.

Giant ci ha invitati al suo quartier generale americano a Newbury Park, in California, per mostrarci i risultati dei suoi ultimi sforzi sul proprio mezzo full da XC. La Anthem è sempre stata la full a minore escursione di Giant. In un paio di occasioni però, soprattutto di recente, ha cominciato ad allontanarsi dalle proprie radici agonistiche. Ridisegnata da zero, non solo è tornata al suo carattere marcatamente race, ma porta anche con sé qualche caratteristica unica e interessante: parliamo soprattutto dello schema di sospensione, che è quello col rapporto di leva più basso di tutto il mondo XC.
