Riassunto
The Giant Defy is celebrated as a versatile endurance bike that excels in comfort and performance, offering a smooth ride quality and agile handling. Its lightweight frame and advanced features like the D-Fuse seatpost enhance vibration damping, making it suitable for long distances. While it provides excellent value and a high-quality ride, some reviews note limitations in component quality and cornering dynamics.

Excellent vibration damping with D-Fuse seatpost
Agile handling and stable at high speeds
Good value for the performance offered
High-quality ride quality that competes with more expensive bikes
Some lower-end builds may have less desirable components

The chassis bears little resemblance to the previous Defy Advanced SL aside from a laundry list of Giant’s trademark features, such as the extra-oversized 1 1/4 to 1 1/2in tapered OverDrive 2 steerer, the huge MegaDrive down tube, the 86mm-wide PowerCore bottom bracket shell with press-fit bearing cups, and that unmistakable integrated carbon fiber seatmast that Giant says is at the core of the Defy’s rear-end comfort characteristics.. .
