Riassunto
The Giant Trance is celebrated as a versatile and well-rounded trail bike, excelling in a variety of conditions with its Maestro suspension system that offers a smooth ride over rough terrain. Its handling is praised for being both stable at high speeds and nimble enough for technical sections, making it a favorite among riders who value performance across different trail types. The bike's design, including features like internal cable routing and a slackened head angle, contributes to its clean aesthetics and improved ride quality.

Craig was hoping the company would call it the ‘Totally Awesome’
The 2012 Trance X1 is a bike that’s more than comfortable in a surprisingly broad array of situations.
The Trance X 29er is made for this – it’s as agile and flickable as any XC race bike, but it eats up rough terrain with total confidence. It’s the perfect bike for this kind of racing.
It could be argued that this day of near limitless configuration options that 5-inches of mountain bike suspension travel has become the very definition of a well-rounded trail bike.
Finances and fear of carbon fragility aside, I’d take this bike over the alloy Trance X any day.

Much lighter and tighter than the alloy version but still a surefooted and versatile technical terrain tamer, if you have the cash
