Riassunto
The Focus Atlas gravel bike series is praised for its versatility and adventure-ready features, including multiple mounting points for bikepacking and a carbon frame option that reduces weight. Reviews highlight its stable handling and comfort for long rides, though some note limitations in wheel compatibility and a lack of compliance on rough terrain. The Atlas stands out for its unique blend of mountain bike and gravel bike characteristics, making it a strong contender for riders seeking an all-road adventure bike.
Carbon frame reduces weight
Multiple mounting points for bikepacking
Stable handling for long rides
Versatile for all-road adventures
In-house Adventure Rack and luggage solutions
Limited wheel options due to Boost hub spacing
Lack of compliance on rough terrain
Stretched-out position may not suit all riders
Relatively heavy wheelset
Gear range limited when fully loaded
The new carbon Atlas 8-series frame aims to trim weight, while improving rider comfort over the alloy bike.

Focus has added a carbon frame to the Atlas range, but this isn't a case of copypasta in a new frame material.

What Focus' first gravel bike lacks in flair, it makes up for with quiet competence and capability.
Capable on a wide range of terrain, lots of storage capability, confidence-inspiring handling.
The included top tube bag is too small, questionable headset bearing durability, Road Boost compatibility headaches.

gen 2021 · Guy Kesteven
While slightly late to the gravel party, the Focus Atlas is a tough, versatile, adaptable and enjoyable way to leave your troubles far behind
Smooth ride
Multiple load fixtures
Good value
Neat cabling
Big tyre clearance
Suspension fork and dropper post compatible
Top tube bag as standard
Boost axles
Relatively heavy
Not as radical as suggested
