Presentato ad Eurobike 2015, lo SRAM Red eTap è il primo gruppo interamente wireless 2×11. Ci è stato fornito già montato su una Focus Izalco Max circa due mesi fa. Dopo tanti chilometri in ogni condizione meteo, possiamo ora proporvi il test di uno dei prodotti più interessanti del momento. Wireless significa che non ci sono fili fra le leve dei freni/cambio e i due deragliatori. Al loro posto troviamo due batterie ricaricabili, presenti sul motore di ciascun deragliatore, e due batterie CR2032 nascoste nelle impugnature del manubrio. La connessione wireless è proprietaria di SRAM: si tratta della cosiddetta AIREA,
