To that end, they borrowed technologies and design cues from our mountain bike range. So, for example, the double-butted aluminium tubeset reduces weight without sacrificing strength, while the tapered head tube increases rigidity and steering accuracy - and Smooth Welding technology keeps the whole thing incredibly neat.
