La nuova Cervelo S5 è stata presentata ad Eurobike 2014, e si contraddistingue per le sue linee a metá fra la bici da crono ed una da triathlon. In realtà l’anima della S5 è più mite, se così si può dire per un mezzo dal telaio così estremo. Vediamone prima i dettagli. Cervélo ha lavorato per rendere il telaio della S5 più aerodinamico e più rigido del modello precedente, caratteristica raggiunta grazie a particolari quali il tubo obliquo con un nuovo profilo troncato nella parte posteriore e l’utilizzo di una nuova forcella tapered ed un tubo sterzo più rigido torsionalmente.
