Riassunto
The Canyon Torque is a highly capable enduro bike that excels in downhill performance, offering stability, speed, and well-tuned suspension. It's praised for its value, solid build, and playful handling, though it may not stand out in a crowded market and has some weight and climbing efficiency drawbacks.
Excellent downhill performance and stability
Well-tuned suspension for rough terrain
Good value and solid build quality
Playful and lively handling
Room for a water bottle inside the front triangle
Heavy weight affects climbing efficiency
Not the most efficient bike for climbs
Can feel less manoeuvrable or responsive than some competitors
Low bottom bracket may not suit all riders
Point the Torque 29 AL 6 downhill and it really comes into its own.
The Torque Mullet CF 8.0 lives up to Canyon’s billing as a bike park slayer.
The Torque 29 CF 9 does not feel like a big travel 29er, it feels like a rolling party where the sound system is blasting out ‘Jump, Jump! Everybody Jump!’.

Ready to rip out of the box, the dialled Canyon Torque AL 6 is excellent value, with well-specified and reliable components
Sorted package with good geometry and parts
Strong wheels
Chunky Fox 38 fork and X2 shock
Shimano drivetrain
Doesn’t offer anything outstanding in terms of handling or ride character in a crowded marketplace

The Canyon Torque 29 CF 9 is a big travel bike that won't sterilise the trails. Heaps of fun from the trail to the race tape, in one package.
