Résumé
The Vitus Venon is an endurance road bike that offers a mix of performance and comfort, with reviews highlighting its value for money, lightweight construction, and responsive handling. While it excels in providing a stiff and efficient ride, some reviewers note a hard ride quality over rough surfaces and a mix-and-match component spec that may not satisfy all riders. The bike is praised for its ability to handle long distances with minimal fatigue, making it a solid choice for endurance riding.
Great value for money
Lightweight construction
Responsive handling
Comfortable over long distances
Solid frame and finishing kit
Hard ride quality over rough surfaces
Mix-and-match component spec
Average brakes
Lifeless wheels
Sluggish initial acceleration
At 8.3kg for a 55cm bike it’s also commendably light.
The Vitus Venon proves that as long as you’re basically competent with a set of Allen keys and can work out appropriate bar position and saddle height yourself (or with a friend) it could be a really smart move too.
The Venon is a bit of a revelation.

A properly outstanding all rounder that blows other budget bikes into the weeds and shames many more expensive rides in the process
