Field Test: 2021 Trek Slash - Ready to Race

déc. 2020 · Mike Kazimer

The Slash received multiple updates for 2021, but it's still an enduro race machine at heart.

Points forts
  • Light and stiff frame – encourages you to go fast

  • Great shock tune

  • In-frame storage

  • Wide range of available frame size options

Points faibles
  • Seat tube angle could still be a bit steeper

  • Shorter cranks and an even longer dropper post would have been nice to see

2018 Trek Slash 9.8

mars 2018 · Bturman jeff.brines

The Slash set the new benchmark for long-travel 29ers not long ago, and 2018's version attempts to meet the same standard. This one is stiff, light, and an excellent option for long adventures.
