An extra-small hardtail electric mountain bike with 26" wheels. Features Boost hub spacing, plus sized 2.8" wide tires, 15mm thru-axle, 9-speed SRAM X5 drivetrain 11-36T, adjustable top speed, responsive torque sensing pedal assist, and trigger throttle operation.
Adjustable spring suspension fork with lockout and preload adjust. Upright geometry with short stem, excellent headlight placement on a metal bracket at the stem. The bike is pre-wired for a rear light that works with the optional rear rack. Optional 20 amp hour battery can greatly extend range.
Powerful 180mm hydraulic disc brakes with motor inhibitors on both levers. Large color display with integrated USB charging port is easy to read. Second USB charging port on side of standard and large battery packs! Nice adjustable kickstand, but it could cause heal strikes if you have long feet or large shoes. Flick bell, locking Velo grips, sturdy Wellgo pedals.
Narrow-wide chainring helps to prevent drops, but there's no slap guard to protect the chain stay from chips. The bike is fairly heavy for a hardtail, due to the spring suspension fork vs. air, larger tires, reinforced frame, and high capacity battery packs. The tires aren't puncture resistant or reflective. No bottle cage mounts like the full sized Shred models. Charge port is in the path of the left crank arm for the standard battery pack.
