More trail worthy than previous models, the 2022 Specialized Riprock 20 and 24 sport some great improvements, but stop short of perfection.

9-speed drivetrain with trigger shifters
Affordable price point
Seat post cannot be slammed fully, limiting minimum seat height
Low stack height may not suit taller riders within recommended range
Handlebar width too wide for some smaller riders
Base model has rigid fork (considered a pro by reviewer but could be con for some)

Specialized introduces an updated Riprock for young rippers with all the bells and whistles of its classic adult bikes. It has modern geometery and some cool new parts to go with the redesigned frame.
