Résumé
The Specialized Diverge is celebrated for its versatility, offering a fun and engaging ride across a variety of terrains, from pavement to gravel. It combines all-day comfort with stable handling and efficient power transfer, making it suitable for long rides and adventurous explorations. While it excels in off-road conditions, some reviews note it can feel sluggish on smooth asphalt and the 1x drivetrain may limit gearing options for some riders.

The Diverge is happiest when taken off the beaten, er, paved path

Vernon, New Jersey probably isn’t one of the first places to pop into your mind when you think gravel bikes. Serving as the location for the Specialized 2018 road presentation though, the area’s roads and gravel turned out to be a perfect backdrop – especially for the launch of the new Diverge. One of the main reasons …

Specialized has updated the Diverge for 2018 with a deeper commitment to the bike’s off-road capabilities. The second-generation Diverge features a re-designed frameset that eschews Zertz elastomers in favour of a Future Shock suspension unit for the stem. There is more room for wider tyres and the geometry of the frame has been refined. And […]
