Less is more: the new Orange Stage Evo 29er packs big bike geometry into a nimble 120mm package.
Traditional Orange ride quality in a thoroughly modern package.
Perfectly balanced handling encourages you to ride beyond the limits of the 120mm travel.
The Orange grips are too thin and the SDG saddle too firm. Water bottle mount is under the down tube.

Can a supposedly outdated suspension design and manufacturing process still shine in a marketplace dominated by homogenized Horst Links and complex composite materials?

janv. 2019 · Tom Marvin
With only a single pivot and shock holding the two ends together, it’s not a super-stiff chassis, but that has its advantages too, and it’s that simplicity that makes this bike ride as it does.. .

Is Orange's longest travel single-pivot 29er good enough to mix it up with the new-wave of Horst Link, VPP and multi-link bikes? We find out.
Loves to be ridden hard and fast.
The bike is consistently predictable no matter how wild you get.
A great range of top-tier components really help the bike shine.
Designed and manufactured in the UK.
It is quite expensive.
Some of the available upgrades probably aren't worth the cash, so choose wisely.
The distinctive 'Orange' look can divide opinion.

Is the Orange Stage 5 a better bike than the venerable Five? Wil certainly thinks so, after reviewing the smurf-a-tron as part of our 29er group test

août 2017 · Trev Worsey
We've tested the Orange Stage 6 Factory, a long travel 29er trail weapon with a burly build kit for the most aggressive riders out there.

The 29 inch wheeled trail bike from Orange has come of time - this Stage 5 is a finely tuned machine.
