Résumé
The Nukeproof Mega series is celebrated for its aggressive geometry and enduro-ready performance, offering a mix of stability and agility across varied terrains. Reviews highlight its excellent suspension performance, balanced handling, and competitive pricing, though some note limitations in climbing efficiency and cockpit comfort. The Mega stands out for its durability and value, proving aluminum frames can compete with carbon counterparts.
Excellent suspension performance
Balanced handling and stability
Competitive pricing and good value
Durable build quality
Aggressive geometry for enduro riding
Limited climbing efficiency
Cramped cockpit for some riders
Front end wanders on steep climbs
No water bottle mounts inside front triangle
Extra weight affects performance
The alloy frame and thin-profile tubes gave the Mega 290 some lateral flex. It made it feel not just lively, but uniquely alive, especially compared to sometimes dead-feeling burly carbon bikes.
The Nukeproof Mega 275C RS shines in any terrain thanks to its balanced handling, excellent suspension and sophisticated features.
Performance doesn’t have to come with a price and Nukeproof proves that with their Mega 290 Pro.
The carbon Mega 275 ticks all of the boxes for riding roughshod over the most demanding terrain.
The Mega is ready to rally right out of the box, with a well-sorted parts spec and up-to-date geometry.Pinkbike

The combination of the race tuned geometry, floaty suspension and functional build kit, makes the Nukeproof Mega 275c Pro an extremely capable bike.
Aggressive riding position
Michelin front tyre undermines confidence

The Nukeproof Mega 275C is synonymous with balanced handling, laying down a convincing performance in our group test.
Excellent cornering capabilities
Great suspension
Good spec at a fair price
No space for a water bottle in the front triangle

This is a weird bike, and not because its name once belonged to a Midwest mid-nineties carbon and titanium component manufacturer. It’s weird because it combines forgiving geometry with unforgiving suspension… and it actually kinda works.

Nukeproof added a carbon front triangle with minor geometry updates to the latest Mega chassis, does that translate into an EWS-capable ride for the average pilot?
Fast and stable, but also able to handle slower speeds.
Excellent suspension performance.
DoubleDown tires as standard equipment.
You still won't be able to ride like Sam Hill.
No water bottle mounts inside front triangle.
Lighter riders may need different rebound tune

A great bike with superb tyres and incredible damping. Sizing won't suit everyone though and there's too much flex in the wheels. Buy if you’re in the market for a seriously well-mannered enduro bike that can be raced at the highest level straight off the shop floor
Great suspension that offers confidence and comfort when it counts
Geometry is great in the larger sizes
Dependable tyres that'll grip well and stave off punctures
Powerful, easy to control brakes
Medium frame feels like it could be longer
Wheels feel flexy when pushed hard

Mega by name, Mega by nature. Another idiotproof enduro offering from Nukeproof, and Rob gives us his verdict.
