Résumé
The Merida Scultura is a race-oriented bike that excels in comfort, handling, and efficiency, making it suitable for long-distance rides and fast efforts on flat terrain. Its design incorporates aerodynamics and innovative features like Flex Stay technology for vibration reduction. While it offers excellent value and performance, some models may carry a weight penalty on climbs and require firm handling on descents.
Comfortable for long-distance rides
Excellent handling and efficiency
Innovative design features like Flex Stay technology
Good value for money
Aerodynamic frame design
Weight penalty on climbs for disc brake models
Requires firm handling on high-speed descents
Some models may feel flexy compared to rivals
Limited tire choices for race-oriented purposes
The Scultura manages to avoid such a compromise and retains an extremely racy feel while benefitting from the grip and added comfort the wide 28mm tyres offer.
Descending on the Scultura Disc was the most fun I have had on a road bike.
The Merida Scultura Disc 6000 is a reactive road bike with plenty of frame stiffness to turn your effort into speed, and it offers way more comfort than you might expect.

Merida's WorldTour racer makes a smooth transition to discs while ironing out some of the earlier niggles of the rim brake edition

The Merida Scultura Disc Team Edition is a Pro level disc brake machine. We rode it on the cobbles and in the mountains to really put it to the test and see if disc brakes actually offer a benefit

A fantastic disc machine - a rival to our Focus’s Izalco Max disc bike of the year. Buy if you want one of the most accomplished disc-equipped, true race bikes around
Lively, likable handling bike, that’s smoothly fast with it
It’s a pricey proposition

This bike should be banned! Oh wait, it is banned. We’ve been out testing the Merida Scultura Disc in the Dolomites to see if the bike can keep its ‘cool’.
