Joe spent six months last year on the Kona Rove LTD and took it on multiple bikepacking trips in New England and countless day rides. Here's the review.
Stable descending, especially with bikepacking bags
Premium finish
Solid design and spec choices, neither all the fads nor lamentable boomer grouchiness
Stiff
Sluggish and dull handling in twisty conditions
Not especially a bargain (but not absurd, either)

The Kona Rove LTD remains classic and modern

Beautiful ride quality and sweet handling makes the Rove LTD an absolute joy to ride, whatever the terrain
Smooth ride quality
Fun yet predictable handling
Plenty of mounting points
Great braking performance
Some cheaper competition

Superb off-road handling
Robust and tough
Comfortable riding position
Kona components are solid but standard fare
Lacks liveliness and feels too tame on the tarmac

Since then, our tester Benedict has had a chance to ride the bike in his native Edinburgh in slightly soggier conditions. How has the bike handled the change? Talking the future of gravel riding with Kona Review: Sonder Camino Al Apex 1 Hydraulic - bargain priced grave/adventure bike Review: Vitus Substance V2 Apex 1 - steel framed, hydro braked gravel bike Let me start by saying that this is a very capable bike.
