Résumé
The Canyon Spectral enduro bike is celebrated for its playful yet capable ride, blending trail bike agility with enduro bike stability. Its Triple Phase suspension design offers a supple initial stroke, supportive mid-stroke, and progressive end-stroke, making it versatile across various terrains. The bike's geometry and lightweight frame encourage creative riding, though some models may have limitations in component specs or sizing.

The Spectral 29 is already putting up most of the capitol it takes to get you up to speed and keep you there. All you have to do is decide what to do with it.
It’s the sort of ride that frees you up to get creative because it isn’t going to punish you for not being perfect.
The real scoop is that they’ve made a bike that meets in the middle between trail and enduro, and somehow made no compromise in the process.

As the most expensive bike at the value bike Field Test, it wasn’t surprising that the Canyon Spectral AL 6 was spec’d better than the rest.
Excellent parts spec and value
Feels more stable at speed than most short-travel bikes
Unique mix of pop and brawl
Long, slack geometry can be cumbersome on technical climbs
Lacks small bump sensitivity
Not the most space for water

The Spectral 125 is Canyon’s newest offering in the busy, short-travel category. It’s a trail bike with 125mm of rear wheel travel matched to a 140mm travel fork, with geometry matching the newly updated Spectral 150 long-travel line.

Canyon’s new Spectral CFR gets a significantly lighter frame and premium kit but it’s still a proper trail brawler when things get rough
300g frame weight saving over standard Spectral CF
Still seriously stiff and precise
Premium light but stiff DT Swiss carbon wheels to match
Balanced, confident geometry
Full Factory Fox suspension for outstanding damping
XTR gears and upsized brakes
Vast amounts of reinforced, wide tire traction
Noticeable pedal bob in open
Too much tire for really fast climbing
No lighter shock and fork option
One-piece cockpit fixed feel and GPS/lights compatibility
Some brake imbalance and ‘hidden’ XT cassette
No 27.5 or mullet CFR options
