The Canyon Lux Trail CF 8 suspension is firm, fast, and freakin' fun but the geometry is too rooted in its XC-Race roots to be fairly marketed as a proper trail bike.

Quickly up to speed and with no kit compromises, I loved the Lux on all but the steepest descents

More traditional geometry means tackling the latest XC courses will require sharp handling skills

Canyon's Lux CF SL 8.0 Race is a super high value and blisteringly quick cross-country race bike that can also take some rapid trail riding in its stride. The suspension and geometry work well for the intended task but the Gripshifter is a very odd component choice that undermines control and needs changing.
