Electric Bike Review
BULLS COPPERHEAD EVO AM 3 Review

déc. 2019

Price: $5899.00 | Model Year: 2020 | An all-mountain style electric bike with longer travel 150mm air suspension from Fox with thicker stanchions and preload + rebound tuning, internal Powertube 625 battery looks great and offers 25% more range, perfect charge port and locking core position on upper right side of frame

Observations
  • An all-mountain style electric bike with longer travel 150mm air suspension from Fox with thicker stanchions and preload + rebound tuning, internal Powertube 625 battery looks great and offers 25% more range, perfect charge port and locking core position on upper right side of frame

  • Mid-sized 2.8" plus sized tires provide increased traction, reduced deflection, and improved comfort but are more nimble and responsive than full 3.0" plus sized tires, the wheels are stiff and responsive thanks to Boost hub spacing, sturdy 15mm and 12mm thru-axles, and premium DT Swiss wheels with reinforcement eyelets

  • Unique dropper seat post from Limotech (called Jovial) now incorporates a bit of suspension, quad piston hydraulic disc brakes from Magura are designed to cool fast and function well at high speeds with large 203mm ebike-specific rotors, impressive 12-speed SRAM drivetrain with 11-51 tooth cassette range

  • Responsive Bosch CX motor delivers an "all in one" eMTB drive mode designed to keep you focused on riding and shifting gears vs. adjusting power settings, the Bosch Purion display panel is more limited than Intuvia and doesn't have USB charging options, the bike is a bit heavier than some in this category but BULLS improved the battery cover design (making it lighter and cheaper + easier to replace)
