Resumen
The Yeti SB140 is a versatile and fun trail bike that excels in playful, all-around riding with its stable yet nimble handling and efficient Switch Infinity suspension. It climbs well with good traction and encourages riders to explore fun lines on descents, though it may feel less composed on steep, technical terrain. Overall, it's praised for its confidence-inspiring geometry and lively character.
Playful and fun to ride
Stable yet nimble handling
Efficient climbing with good traction
Confidence-inspiring geometry
Versatile for various terrains
Rear tire lacks traction for steep descents
Brakes may feel underpowered
Less composed on very technical or steep terrain
Higher price point
it can climb all day long with zero drama and then absolutely demolish descents
It’s the sort of bike that drinks a protein shake after rides.
The SB140 is a seriously capable bike.
Hands off the brakes, weight back, let’s rip! The motto of the SB140!
The best thing about this bike? It begs you to just go ride and not take yourself too seriously.

You can't go changing structural components on a bike just because you want to ... can you? This Dream Build did exactly that.

The Yeti SB140 is a true all-rounder, convincing us both as a potent trail bike and playful enduro rig. Read our review to find out more.
Great rear suspension
The low slung frame provides good freedom of movement
Very composed
Elegant look
Requires an active riding style
Rattling cables
Slight inconsistencies in the spec: brakes, tires

The Yeti SB140 is light and poppy, but still super stable at speed. It's most in its element on trails with wide-open sight lines where you can let the brakes off and get playful on well-sculpted berms and jumps.
Stable at highs speed and on jump trails
Dependable climber
Comes in size XS
Not as composed on steep descents
2.6" tire combo with EXO casing won't be for everyone
Riders on that are in between sizes may want to size down

The SB140 is refreshingly effortless and fantastically amusing for riders of all levels.

While 29ers may be faster going from Point A to B, the smaller-wheeled (and shorter rear-ended) 27.5ers are arguably more playful and poppy. - Mtbr.com

At 190cm tall, I like a high front-end, and a longer reach requires a higher bar height to feel comfortable on the bike.
Steep seat angle, efficient suspension and fast rolling tyres make climbing both comfortable and fast
Burly fork and roomy geometry make it potentially super-capable coming back down too
Rear tyre and 180mm rotors aren't ideal for really steep descents
Maximum bar height too low for some tall riders

Yeti’s newest model, the SB140, is a 27.5-inch wheel, 140 mm travel bike. If you knew the original SB5, the SB140 is like an old friend who’s gotten ripped, rad, more fun and better looking since you last saw her.

Following the release of the SB165 , it’s time to show you the new SB140, a bike with 27.5″ wheels and 140mm rear travel, paired with a 160mm fork. This is also part of the rip bikes concept, with which Yeti defines a category designed to put fun first and foremost, taking advantage of the playfulness of the smaller wheels compared to the 29″ bikes they presented last season. In the following video the SB140 is explained in detail. The SB140 is rather difficult to categorize. Is it a small enduro or trail bike with aggressive geometry? Let’s look
