Resumen
The Transition Spur is a highly versatile trail bike that excels in both climbing and descending, offering a lightweight, playful ride with a full carbon fiber frame and lifetime warranty. Its geometry and suspension design provide a confident and efficient ride, blurring the lines between XC and trail capabilities. While it may require cautious line choice in rougher sections, its performance and reliability make it a standout choice for riders seeking a well-rounded bike.
Capable and efficient shorter-travel bike
Blurs the lines between XC and trail
Reliable companion for all-terrain riding
Lightweight, under 30 pounds
Steep seat angle and balanced geometry for effective climbing
Lower shock bolt being slightly loose
Small travel numbers may be a negative for larger riders
Requires cautious line choice in rowdier sections
SRAM’s G2 brake levers rattle over rough terrain
The Spur has been a reliable companion.
The Spur sparks confidence in a similar way trail bikes do, but in a more svelte package.
It's one of the most well-rounded bikes I've been on in a while.

In-frame storage, adjustable geometry, and a shorter seat tube are a few of the key updates.
Hits the mark when it comes to overall handling.
Short stems, higher rise bars, and longer dropper posts are great to see on a 120mm bike.
The frame weight's reasonable, but gram counters may want something even lighter.
Even the base model is on the pricier side of things.

Transition’s lightness, both in feel and on the scales, makes for a bike that can be pedaled farther and pointed down gnarly lines with fresh legs, thanks to the overall efficiency.
